2023/24 Second Round Application Invitation for “Community Waste Reduction Projects”
The Environment and Conservation Fund (ECF) Committee is calling for applications for “Community Waste Reduction Projects” from 14 November 2023 (Tuesday) to 18 December 2023 (Monday).
Community Waste Reduction Projects
Applicant organisations should read the Guide to Application (November 2023 version) for Community Waste Reduction Projects before completing the Application Form. Applicant organisations may:
a. apply online by submitting a completed electronic Application Form at the GovHK website: https://eform.cefs.gov.hk/form/epd004/; or
b. apply by submitting a completed paper-based Application Form (November 2023 version) which can be downloaded from the ECF website by hand or by post to the Waste Reduction Projects Vetting Sub-committee Secretariat (the Secretariat) at 5/F, Southorn Centre, 130 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong; or
c. apply by submitting softcopy of a completed Application Form (November 2023 version) via email to ecf@eeb.gov.hk
before 6:00 p.m. on 18 December 2023 (Monday) (please state “Community Waste Reduction Projects” on the envelope or as the email title).
For applications submitted by post, the postmark should be dated on or before 18 December 2023 and please ensure payment of sufficient postage as the Secretariat will not accept underpaid mails or bear the surcharge so arisen. In case the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal or Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is in force for any duration between 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m. on 18 December 2023, the invitation closing time will be extended to 6:00 p.m. on the next working day.
Late or incomplete applications or applications not submitted in accordance with the instructions and requirements as stated in the Guide to Application and Application Form will not be processed.
Briefing Session(s) on Invitation for Applications (Updated)
The first and second online briefing sessions, on (1) an introduction of the Community Waste Reduction Projects; and (2) details related to completion of the Application Form, were conducted on 20 October 2023 (Friday) and 6 December 2023 (Wednesday) respectively. The briefing materials of the first briefing session and the briefing materials of the second briefing session have been uploaded to the ECF website.
