2024/25 Application Invitation for “Research and Development Projects”
Research and Development Projects
Applicant organisations should read the Guide to Application (July 2024 version) before completing the Application Form. Applicant organisations may:
a. apply online by submitting a completed electronic Application Form at the GovHK website: https://eform.cefs.gov.hk/form/epd006/en/; or
b. apply by submitting a duly completed paper-based Application Form (July 2024 version) which can be downloaded from the ECF website by hand or by post to the Research and Development Projects Vetting Sub-committee Secretariat (the Secretariat) at 5/F, Southorn Centre, 130 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong; orc. apply by submitting softcopy of a duly completed Application Form (July 2024 version) via email to ecf@eeb.gov.hk
before 6:00 p.m. on 25 September 2024 (Wednesday) (please state “Research and Development Projects” on the envelope or as the email subject).
For applications submitted by post, the postmark should be dated on or before 25 September 2024 and please ensure payment of sufficient postage as the Secretariat will not accept underpaid mails or bear the surcharge so arisen. In case Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted, or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal / Extreme Weather Condition announced by the Government is/are in force for any duration between 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m. on 25 September 2024, the invitation closing time will be extended to 6:00 p.m. on the next working day.
Late or incomplete applications and applications not submitted in accordance with the instructions and requirements as stated in the Guide to Application and Application Form will not be processed.
Briefing Session on Invitation for Applications
The online briefing session covering an introduction to the Research and Development Projects as well as the application details will be conducted on 20 August 2024. The presentation materials of the briefing session will be uploaded to the ECF website.
